World's Rarest Turquoise and Gold Cab
We fully understand this remains a rare finished Cab.
The genuine Gold matrix is what makes this gemstone what it is.
It must test as gold to your experts and to your complete satisfaction before buying.
Gold matrix is what makes it a rare finished gem and a One-of-a-Kind
Photos were photo shopped to bring out the Gold Matrix (Makes it look deeper green than it is)
Hands on remains the best viewing of the lighter lime greens.
You can see actual flakes of the gold using the zoom feature.
The pear Cabochon is a beautiful Varigated Green and Brown
But the gorgeous gold and the flaking gold visible makes this the rarest Cabochon it is.
Photo numbers 4,7,11,12,13,14,and 15 show the true lighter lime green color of this cab.
Hands on remains the best view!

Yes, it has a gold vein matrix.
What we do know!
The finished cab has been three times tested for the Real Gold Matrix
We know this pear Cabochon was originally cut from a piece of raw natural turquoise much larger than the finished cab.
The cut cab was then polished and finished to bring it to a luster shine.
By Arizona Law the finished cab is no longer proper to be called Natural Turquoise, but rather is then termed turquoise under Arizona Law...Which by law can be still be referenced as turquoise.
This Pear Cabochon is turquoise with a genuine gold matrix.
Gold is what makes it a very rare finished gemstone.

Different tests I ran:
View test: Can see veins and inclusions in the cabochon.
And, able to see flakes of gold in many areas.
Colors are as expected for natural turquoise.
Gemologists are trained to detect treatments in stones using a variety of testing methods.
Some of which are necessarily destructive. For example, the use of a heated probe applied to an inconspicious spot.
Will reveal oil, wax, or plastic treatment with certainty.
By smoke, smell and melting of material.
One question we were determined to answer by testing?
The yellow colored material forming the matrix.
Is it copper? Iron pyrite? Or gold?
Copper reacts to nitric acid by turning blue green and also dissolves. This did not happen.
We tested three times with two different proper acid tests.
For the acid test we drilled a small amount from the back of the cab.
And placed it into a clean testing dish and added the acid.
It did not foam, dissolve or melt any of the test material.
Acid test for gold... Positive it turned bright yellow.
Highter acid test for quality of gold matrix: Positive as vein gold.
Red Hot pin test:
Taking a pin we heated it in a gas torch until it was red hot and pushed it hard agianst the
back of the pear cabochon.... Results: Pin did not penetrate the cab or leave a mark. No melting.
On November 18th we tried heat once more!
With a torch we heated a soldering tip red hot and then placed it into the Pear Cabachon back side.
Result was...no melting.
This cabochon is turquoise with real gold matrix.

I never knew real gold could ever be in turquoise, and this gemstone is absolutely stunning. Way out of my ability to purchase.
But, I appreciated reading about it and dreaming of just holding it?
I am of Indian heritage and turquoise is very sacred in my heritage.
May the great eagle watch over you and yours.
